History

In October 2010 experts in the fields of computer networks and data communications, from various sectors, gathered for three days in Brasilia for the "Seminar for Assessment of the Brazilian Agenda in Research, Development, and Innovation in the Future Internet". Their goal in this seminar was to assess the national and international efforts in the Future Internet, and especially to outline a strategy in Brazil this theme. The main outcome of the meeting was "Letter of Brasília", which aims to suggest concrete actions for Brazil to become an active participant, recognized, and relevant in the Future Internet. Moreover, this portal has been created to be a tool for promotion and dissemination of all research initiatives concerning the topic of Future Internet in the Brazilian community.
