Collaborate with FIBI

In order to collaborate with the FIBI portal you have the following options.

First of all, we recommend all users to read our Terms of Use to understand how the FIBI portal should be used.

Register and activate your account:

As a registered user you gain access to the forum, other user profiles, and you will be able to communicate with other registered researchers through the portal.

1. Register yourself creating a login and password to get access to restricted areas of the portal. Fill in as much information as possible in the registration form. To register use the link on the top menu or click here;
2. You will receive a link on your email to confirm your registration. Click that link to activate your account;
3. Login to the portal with the username and password you just created.

Become a collaborator:

Collaborators can include new articles under their specific project's sections, which will also figure under the “News” section. Also, collaborators may include places on the "Research Map" section.

1. Sing in as a registered user following the 3 steps described above;
2. Click the link Join a Project as a Collaborator from the top menu to fill the request to become a collaborator. Inform which project you would like to collaborate with or "New Project" if your project is not yet listed in the FIBI portal;
3. Your request will be analyzed by the administrator and you will be contacted as soon as possible;
4. At this point you may already include your location in the "Research Map" section. The location marker will also have to be approved by the administrator.

Share your research:

The FIBI portal is intended to allow collaborators to share their achievements with the research community. Anything, from project updates, new publications, or software releases can be promoted through the FIBI portal.

1. As soon as you receive the approval to become a collaborator from the portal administrator (see "Become a collaborator" above), you are ready to share your content in the portal;
2. Login to the portal and click the link Submit an Article from the top menu;
3. Your article will be placed under the project section the administrator assigned for you and also under the "News" section;
4. You may also edit your articles clicking the "Edit" button (pencil image) near article titles;
5. If you would like to highlight a general purpose article in the home page of the portal, like a conference call for papers or news from other countries, send a proposal message to the administrator via the Contact form.
